In early 2000, a friend revealed the wonders of GIBBS to me and I wanted to try the product for myself ... but all he could tell me is that it was obtained from a gun show. In 1969, Paul Gibbs -- a Harley-Davidson mechanic with a background in chemistry -- invented GIBBS Brand. No one, since that date, has ever expressed dissatisfaction with GIBBS ... and no one has ever returned a single can.
GIBBS was the first penetrant to ever become patented, establishing a new category in the Library of Congress. It is the only penetrant/lubricant/waterproofer available that undercoats metal and can be painted over.
